Las Vegas to Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour

Convenient and comfortable

It is quite some distance from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon and in combination with great aerial views, a helicopter tour is the perfect option. We think it is the best way to experience the Grand Canyon. The helicopter tours start with lift-off in Las Vegas and after a 45 min flight the helicopter lands inside the Grand Canyon where you’ll enjoy a picnic and take photographs. The helicopter flight takes you to the Grand Canyon West Rim and over sights such as Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. The tour usually takes about four hours in total, but longer Grand Canyon tours are available. We will help you find the best prices on the most popular tours.

Costs and different tours

The helicopter tours cost from $300. It is also possible to take a tour where you fly home during sunset and experience Las Vegas Strip by night. The longer “Ultimate Grand Canyon tour” is one of the best available tours from Las Vegas. You will have more time to spend inside Grand Canyon and you’ll have the option of doing the Grand Canyon Skywalk. This is the ultimate experience!

Travelers stories from Grand Canyon helicopter tours!
Frank, december

I decided before the trip to Las Vegas that I want to go by helicopter over the Grand Canyon. I got Ola with me, Christine and Ryan chickened out. We booked everything before the trip so the limo picked us up at our hotel in Las Vegas. The journey was worth every cent. We were first flying over the Hoover dam, a huge pond not far from Las Vegas. We continued on the way over half an hour before we saw this natural phenomenon to accumulate. All the time we were flying over Grand Canyon it was possible to see Colorado River below us.

We landed in the bottom of the Grand Canyon of Colorado River next to where we had a champagne lunch! After about half an hour we continued our journey home to Las Vegas. The entire tour took almost four hours. In the evening we walked around among the hotels on the Las Vegas Strip.

Today we experienced our wedding gift to fly a helicopter over the Grand Canyon -impressive! The gift we give thanks for! None of us had flown a helicopter before, but it was exciting! It was fortunately not very windy, so it was a really smooth ride. However, it was again a really hot day again with a temperature over 100 Fahrenheit. Despite the air conditioning in the helicopter, the heat takes a lot of energy and Louise felt to sleep as we came back to Las Vegas. The plan was to go out tonight, but there was no energy for it. However, no one is crying over that.
